I’m thankful for SO many things this year, but e

I’m thankful for SO many things this year, but especially the newfound sense of calm and the ease of accepting imperfection I’m embracing as we move into this holiday season. It might be one of the top things on my list.

The odd sense of calm and surrender feels foreign to me; it literally made me pause last night when things didn’t exactly go to plan. No stress? No holding back frustrated words? Who am I?!?

🎄The tree stand I bought didn’t arrive on time.
🎄The substitute stand I rushed to pick up wouldn’t hold our tree up.
🎄Alllllll the Christmas lights I bought last year are unfathomably dead.

Needless to say, our “night-before-Thanksgiving tree trimming tradition” didn’t go as planned.

But we got a beautiful tree and had a nice conversation with the man at the lot. We finally got a picture of our entire family (it’s been awhile…). And we watched Home Alone in the substitute glow of a “backup tree” I set beside the undecorated one.

It may not have been “the usual,”… but I think it was even better.

We can’t change the world, but we can start by shining our light, whatever it may be, to brighten the lives of those who stand beside us.

Maybe, in turn, this will encourage them to do the same. And so the light grows.

I’ve made the decision to pause my full-home des

I’ve made the decision to pause my full-home design services in the upcoming year. Instead, I’ll be taking on more of a consulting/coaching approach to my work with homeowners.

BUT.

I’m wrapping up this year with some really great projects and when I finish a whole-home concept like this… I’m reminded of how amazing it is to be able to provide clients with a fully fleshed furnishing plan that they can implement on their own.

Sometimes a little vision goes a long way.

I do things a little bit differently with my design work. But in the BEST kind of way.⁣
You see, when you work with me, you can expect some differences:

1. | I don't just update your house for you; I give you simple tools to do it YOURSELF so you can more confidently approach home projects again and again - even without me.

2. | The price will have you double-checking you read it right ‘cause I keep your investment as low as possible. I know most people don’t have big budgets but DO deserve big support. That's why my ENTIRE decorating course costs the same as a single design session.

3.| I provide real 1-on-1 support during the program to help you answer any questions you have and cheer you on as you develop your skills. Plus- there's always the option to add on individual coaching sessions if you need a little extra help.
