Fall Bathroom Decor
If you’re going to add Fall decor to a bathroom, the powder room is the perfect place to do it! It’s one of the spaces most frequently visited by visitors and the small footprint makes it easy to make an impression with little effort.
Easy Swaps for Effortless Fall Bathroom Decor
When it comes to updating bathroom decor, I think it’s best to keep it simple. By swapping out 3 key items for a more seasonal variation, you can totally refresh the space in a matter of minutes.
Do this to update your Fall bathroom decor:
- Swap out your hand towel– Choose a seasonal pattern or a delicious textured fabric in a warm, rich color. These Turkish hand towels are my go to for styling projects (and my own home). You can’t beat the price and the quality.
- Mix up the wall art– If you have a piece of wall art hanging over the toilet or on a wall, why not exchange it for something in line with the season? We normally have a blue and white painting in our bathroom, but for Fall I added a vintage print of an English village in a tortoiseshell frame that I found at an estate sale. Totally changes the mood of the space!
- Update your hand soap– I love a minimal amber glass soap bottle on a wall mount dispenser, but it can be fun to swap out the scent of the hand soap to improve the sensory experience of your guests. If you don’t have a wall mount dispenser, simply add a luxe seasonal soap pump to your counter.

Tiered Rattan Storage Tray
I love this tank tray because it gives you texture AND height in an otherwise boring place. This is perfect for Fall bathroom decor, but it truly works all year long! Just swap out the accessories with the seasons!
Seasonal Patterned Guest Towels
Disposable guest towels are a hotel-style touch but you could also roll up a few small fingertip towels here. If you’re looking for a reusable option , check out these ones!
Bud vase with fresh greenery
I collect bud vases everywhere I go- they’re affordable, easy to find at thrift and vintage stores, and they are great for adding greenery or flowers to a space easily since they’re so small. This set I linked has multiples so you can group them as an arrangment or give them away with fresh flowers from your yard.
STYLIST TIP: Eucalyptus from Trader Joe’s or the grocery store works great year round in vases- it’s inexpensive, has a pretty silvery grey color, and LASTS so much longer than most cut flowers.
Stylish Seasonal Candle
I linked my favorite candle (I try to keep a few on hand at all times) but any seasonal candle you love is great. When I’m having guests over, I like to light a candle in the powder room as a simple gesture of hospitality.
Decorative Matches + Matchstick Holder
I bought this matchstick holder and I loved it so much I went back and bought 2 more because I couldn’t decide where I wanted to put it.
Lighters are efficient but they aren’t very pretty (and there’s just something about striking a match that I enjoy…). Filled with pretty decorative matches, it’s standalone decor. Oh, and there is a match strike on the bottom of the holder!
Fall is all about being cozy, warm and settling back into home again after a long summer of adventuring. Maybe that’s why it’s my favorite season?
